Aari embroidery Zig-Zag Family By Prisara@321123 0 Comments Posted on February 14, 2025 Zig-Zag Chain Stitch Once you have learnt the chain stitch it is easy to learn the Zig-Zag chain stitch. To learn chain stitch check the below post link. The method of chain stitch are all the same to be followed however the stitches have to be up and down to form the zig-zag. Start with a chain in the upward direction and the next chain in the downward direction and continue the same to form the zig-zag lines. Keep in mind the zig-zag should not be wider nor heighten. Also make sure to give a pull on completing each chain. If you complete the chain upeard pull the chain in the upeard direction and then bring it down, similary when you put the chain in the downwards direction pull the chain downward and then take it up. Follow this simple step so that the chain is not loose and the zig-zag is formed correctly as shown in the picture below. Here are few pics that shows you the wrong procedure which you have to avoid while doing this stitch. If you do not give the pull the stitch will be loose and the final look will be like this First the stitch should not be wider as shown in the picture. The stitch should not be too height as shown in the below picture. You should keep in mind to pull the thread in the same direction as you are putting the chain and then continue in the other direction. If the pull is not given the zig-zag stitch may look like as shown in the picture. These are few common doubts and the mistakes done by the students. Make sure you follow the technique correctly as explained to avoid all the corrections. Chain with Zig-Zag Stitch First complete a chain stitch as shown in the picture.
