A Colorful Journey: My Kerala Fashion Event and Trip

Hey there fashionistas and wanderers!

I am thrilled to share with you all the whirlwind adventure I had at the IDTFL fashion event in the picturesque land of Kerala, along with a delightful post-event trip. Buckle up as I take you through the vibrant moments of our journey!


First things first, landing the opportunity to showcase my brand at the IDTFL event, hosted at the Eram International Convention Center in Aluva, Kerala, was nothing short of a dream come true. With the support of the amazing team at MD Productions and Pink Pixel Company, especially the dynamic duo, Gibby Eyan and Ameen, the event was set to be a stunner from the get-go.


From the moment our sketches were approved, the adrenaline rush kicked in, and we dove headfirst into creating a collection that screamed elegance and fusion. Our theme? A mesmerizing blend of traditional, western, and Indo-western styles, adorned with intricate embroidery—a true feast for the eyes!



The journey to Kerala was an adventure in itself. We embarked on our road trip in the wee hours, picking up my mom along the way, and reached the convention center just in time for the excitement to unfold. After a hearty lunch of mandhi biriyani (a must-try!), we dived into rehearsals, fittings, and last-minute tweaks, all under the watchful eye of Gibby.



As the event day dawned, the buzz of anticipation filled the air. Seeing our logo proudly displayed on the banner was a surreal moment, and as the models strutted down the runway in our creations, I couldn't help but feel a surge of pride.



And then came the highlight—the moment when I stepped onto the stage as the designer. It was a culmination of months of hard work and passion, and being recognized by the esteemed guest, Mithali Krishnan, was the cherry on top.




But wait, the fun didn't end there! We bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of the event and set sail on a tranquil houseboat cruise. Watching my kid's eyes light up with joy as he splashed around in the water brought a whole new level of happiness to the trip. From leisurely rides in the speedboat to lively evenings spent bonding with fellow travelers over games and cards, every moment was etched in bliss.



As we bid adieu to Kerala, with a pit stop at the scenic Harari Beach, the memories we made will forever hold a special place in my heart. And to top it off, a big shoutout to my brother, who captured every moment of the event with finesse.
